The Garden Oasis Office: A Bespoke 2m x 3m Workspace
Having recently relocated to care for her mother, Gemma needed more than just a place to put a desk. She needed a dedicated office retreat—a quiet, private sanctuary steps from the main house where she could focus on work while remaining close to family.
To maximise her compact outdoor space, we designed and built a bespoke 2m x 3m Signature SIPs Garden Studio. It proves that you don’t need a massive garden to create a highly functional, premium workspace.

The Design: Maximising Light in a Compact Footprint
When working with a 2m x 3m footprint, smart architectural choices make all the difference. We focused on flooding the room with natural light to make the space feel open, airy, and inviting:

Upgraded Glazing: We installed sleek 1.8m French doors, custom-upgraded with dual 400mm side windows to capture every drop of daylight.

Premium Exterior: The studio is clad in our signature ToughWood ‘Cedar’. It delivers the striking, warm look of natural timber but offers long-lasting durability with virtually zero maintenance.

Modern Accents: The roof trimmings, window frames, and doors are finished in a contemporary Anthracite Grey, creating a sharp, stylish contrast against the cedar.
The Tech: Fully Equipped for Seamless Remote Work
A true garden office needs to perform just like a premium indoor room. We fully kitted out the Astana to ensure Gemma had commercial-grade connectivity and comfort:

Hardwired Connectivity: To guarantee uninterrupted Zoom calls and lightning-fast speeds, we ran a dedicated Cat 5 internet cable directly from the studio to the main house router.

Abundant Power: Four strategically placed double plug sockets ensure all computer hardware, monitors, and chargers are easily accommodated without messy extension cords.

Climate Control: To make it a true 365-day space, we installed luxury electric underfloor heating controlled by a precise digital thermostat.

Ambience: A stylish architectural up/down exterior light was added, providing both safety and a beautiful evening glow after dusk.

By taking her work out of the spare bedroom and into the garden, Gemma achieved the clear boundary she desperately needed. The Pent Haus has provided her with the peace, quiet, and independence to succeed at work, while flawlessly supporting her family life.
