We recommend our Foundation Pack, which uses heavy-duty composite posts and a stainless steel frame. It’s ideal for all ground types, including steep slopes, and creates a breathable space to prevent damp.

The ToughFrame Pro is engineered for maximum versatility and can be installed on several surface types:

• Our Unique Foundation Pack: For the most efficient install on varying ground—including steep slopes—the ToughFrame Pro is fully compatible with our bespoke foundation system. This avoids the hassle of heavy concrete excavation while providing a perfectly level, ventilated base that protects the building’s thermal performance.
• Concrete Slabs or Patios: If you have an existing flat, solid surface like a concrete pad, you can install directly using our Base Levelling Kit. This ensures the frame remains perfectly square, preventing any alignment issues with doors or windows down the line.
• Existing Decking: You can also build onto structurally sound decking using our levelling kit. We simply recommend verifying that the underlying timber frame is in good condition to ensure a lifetime of stability for your Pro kit.
